People around the world taking precautions to avoid contracting or spreading the coronovirus (COVID-19), but supermodel Naomi Campbell recently showed that she was taking the whole issue very seriously while travelling from Los Angeles.

The 49-year-old posted a series of photos on Instagram that showed her wearing a full-body hazmat suit, a face mask, safety goggles and gloves. The superstar demonstrated that she was taking no chances when catching a flight at Los Angeles International Airport. This measure is probably unsurprising, as she previously unveiled her pre-flight routine in a video on her YouTube channel, Being Naomi, in 2019, and it included a cleaning ritual that she feels protects her from illnesses caused by germs contracted while travelling.

The images Naomi posted showed her arriving at the airport in her car, posing at the airport terminal to display her full outfit, sitting on the plane with a brown cape draped over her shoulders and leaving the airport holding a grey blanket. "Safety First NEXT LEVEL," she said, adding that she will be posting a full video on her YouTube channel soon. In her previous video, Naomi unpacked her travel bag, which contained a hydration pack filled with face masks. She donned a pair of disposable anti-bacterial gloves and embarked on cleaning her seat with Dettol wipes.

Showing that she was ahead of the curve when it comes to protecting herself from germs, she scrubbed everything in her space, including the seat, tray, TV, headrest and entertainment remote control. "As much as I travel, I should get sick so much more with colds and stuff and I'm blessed that I don't," she explained. "I really think this helps me – my little routine."
