About Alicia
Alicia Johnson is a New York City girl whose love of travel was sparked by growing up in a multi-cultural neighborhood in the Bronx. Over the years, the Howard University grad has traveled to places like Trinidad and Tobago, New Zealand, Australia, Paris, London, St Lucia, Honduras and Panama. The former sports editor joined Lonely Planet in 2018 where her area of focus was Central America and the Caribbean. To Alicia, travel is a privilege and should never be taken for granted.
