About Becky
I write about places where it rains a lot: Sweden, Oregon, Washington. I currently live in the mountains of southern Colorado, but I roam around a lot, usually in a half-converted purple Dodge minivan; I co-wrote Lonely Planet's coffee-table book "The Vanlife Companion." I've written and updated many guidebooks on the outdoors, including "Backpacking Oregon" and "One-Night Wilderness: Portland." I'm a book and movie nerd but also love skiing, rock climbing, dive bars, motorcycles and packrafting.
