From cricket in the Caribbean to sidestepping hungry pigs in India, my travels have thrown up many unique experiences. These days I spend most of my time in the Mediterranean and Italy where I’ve been living since 1997.
I’ve worked on more than 70 Lonely Planet titles, including guidebooks to Italy, Rome, Sardinia, Andalucía, Spain and Portugal. I’ve also written on Italy for newspapers, websites and magazines.
