"I’m a wordsmith, spinning words about Croatia, India, hotels, sustainable travel, arts & culture and slow travel. My words and images have been published in a dozen in-flight magazines, major UK newspapers and online at Lonely Planet, CNN Travel, Time Out and Euronews.
I’m the co-author of two Lonely Planet guidebooks due for publication in 2024: Lonely Planet Croatia and Experience Croatia.
My most epic trip was a solo one: a long-distance walk along the length of the Croatian islands of Cres and Lošinj.
I was born in Canada and have lived on three continents, but home is currently a stone house in a tiny hilltop village in Istria, Croatia.
