About Jenny
It took four months to drive from Oman to our home in northern Spain but the Middle East, home for over a quarter of a century, travelled with us. The subject of my PhD, deserts - and indeed all wild places and the unique ecosystems they shelter - are embedded in my soul (as equally in my socks). I feel hugely lucky to have covered many remote regions for Lonely Planet in over twenty years of guidebook writing, across three continents.
