About Jillian
Jillian Bolger is a Dubliner who has lived in Colombo, Melbourne, Hamburg and Martha's Vineyard. Working as a food and travel writer for over 25 years, she's happiest outdoors, especially if it's on safari. (Botswana is her favorite country.) Having visited 53 countries, memorable experiences include night snorkeling in the Maldives, mountain biking in Bolivia, sailing around French Polynesia and sleeping in a treehouse in Zimbabwe. Her most epic trip was a 20-month adventure that included 3 months in India and 9 months driving the circumference of Australia. An award-winning writer, restaurant critic and a runner, Jillian's stories appear across national and international publications.
