About Josh
After spending much of my late teens and twenties working various jobs in Philadelphia, I decided to leave my corporate job as an environmental engineer and hit the road. Three months of backpacking through Europe and Northern Africa was followed by another three months of motorcycling to various national parks across the U.S., before eventually landing in a small town in New Hampshire's White Mountains.
Since, I've continued my trend of not being able to sit still, working as a civil engineer, wilderness therapy guide, and snowboard instructor, all while maintaining jobs as a freelance writer and photographer. To date, I've done a variety of writing and photography work with publications like The Points Guy, Condé Nast Traveler, Afar, Outside, Climbing, and Travel + Leisure, to name a few.
