Maddy enjoyed a decade-long BBC career in London before relocating to Stockholm in 2014, after falling in love with Scandinavia during a number of reporting assignments. Since then she’s written extensively about Nordic culture, lifestyle and tech trends, and filed travel reports for media including The Telegraph, Monocle, BBC Travel and Time Out, alongside Lonely Planet.
Passionate about staying healthy and spending time outdoors, Maddy particularly loves exploring new places on foot. She regularly connects with local running communities during her travels, who’ve helped her discover some of the best trails in cities including New York, Berlin, Helsinki and Muscat.
