From the search for a long-lost Venetian wine to Byzantine mosaics uncovered beneath an Istanbul market, I seek out the stories that turn a trip into an adventure. I'm a regular contributor to National Geographic, CNN, Parade, AFAR, Condé Nast Traveler, The Points Guy and numerous in-flight and regional magazines and my stories have won awards from the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW). I also helm the adventure and wellness travel website Health Conscious Travel and am on the road with my rescue cattle dog whenever possible.
