Melissa Klurman is a veteran travel journalist and editor with more than two decades of experience. She's explored everywhere from the Kalahari Desert to Disney, and has worked for Frommer's and Fodor's and magazines and websites including Saveur, Islands, Martha Stewart Weddings, Parents, and Reader's Digest. She's also the winner of a Lowell Thomas Gold Award for excellence in travel writing.
A New Jersey native, ice cream addict, and lifelong Bruce Springsteen fan, Melissa lives in Montclair, New Jersey, with her husband, son, and rescue dog.
