About Monique
Born in Canada and raised in Australia, I've lived and worked in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, the Maldives and Cockatoo. I've been an author on dozens of Lonely Planet guides covering destinations from Tibet to the Torres Strait. In between times I work as a freelance writer, editor and ghost writer, and play a little ukulele.
