Hello! I am an award-winning journalist, author and digital producer with a focus on travel, culture, food and wine.
I have worked first as a 'Local' for Lonely Planet in Italy and Thailand and now as a regular contributor since 2017. My worked has also featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The Australian, Time Out, Forbes and Culture Trip, to name a few.
While living in Italy, I launched Lost in Florence (www.lostinflorence.it) showcasing unique venues in the Italian Renaissance capital that is featured in Lonely Planet Guide books, and since, published as a book, 'Lost in Florence: An insider's guide to the best places to eat, drink and explore', by Hardie Grant and translated into Italian by Giunti Editore. In January 2021, it won GUIDE OF THE YEAR at the Travel Media Awards in London, UK.
Now based in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia, I write freelance for multiple publications including Broadsheet and WA Good Food Guide, with a new website, Lost in Fremantle (www.lostinfremantle.com), launching in April 2021.
