About Paul
I'm a passionate traveller, photographer, island-hopper, adventure and occasional lead guitarist in a rock band. I love exotic cultures, smells and sounds - India and Southeast Asia are favourites - but equally happy exploring my local neighbourhood or city (Melbourne) by bike. Still a backpacker at heart but I have experience with (and love) family travel (with my young daughter), solo travel, camping, glamping, road trips or cultured city breaks and everything in between. I'm fortunate to have contributed to dozens of Lonely Planet guidebooks.
