About Sam
Sam has been working in travel for more than 20 years, writing about destinations as widely dispersed as the Scottish Islands, Kenya, India and Malaysia. He has a special connection to Asia, but he has lived in many different countries near and far over the years. He first got the travel bug after hearing stories from his grandfather who was stationed in the Pacific in the 1930s.
