Dating from the 1480s, Lohja's medieval church contains incredible murals, mostly dating from the beginning of the 16th century. Starting from the right of the chancel, the murals depict the Creation and the story of the Garden of Eden. The narrative continues clockwise around the church, ending with the Last Judgment to the left of the chancel. Look out also for the 15th-century sculpture of St Lawrence on the southern wall.
