Panchvaktra Mandir

Himachal Pradesh

This intricately sculpted stone Shiva temple stands on the spit of land at the junction of the Beas and Satlos rivers, 150m east of Victoria Bridge.

Restored around 1700, the original is much older, possibly a similar age to the matching Triloknath temple across the Beas River. A few pre-restoration sculptures remain in a heavily eroded state.
