Pura Puseh Desa Blahbatuh

Ubud Region

A carved stone head inside this temple compound is believed to be a portrait of Kebo Iwa, the legendary strongman and minister to the last king of the Bedulu kingdom. The carving is thought to predate the Javanese 11th-century influence in Bali. Foreign visitors aren't always welcome at the temple complex, which was reconstructed after being destroyed in the 1917 earthquake.
