This museum houses the permanent collection of Nuoro's excellent art museum and has an entire wing devoted to the works of renowned Nuoro-born sculptor Francesco Ciusa (1883–1949). Displays include works by the island’s top 20th-century artists, including painters Antonio Ballero, Giovanni Ciusa-Romagna and Mario Delitala, abstract artist Mauro Manca and sculptor Costantino Nivola.
