The Asafu Culture Yard is a sort of house complex with gardens and a museum operated by the Charles Town Maroon Council, an educational outreach organization dedicated to preserving the cultural traditions of the Maroons. The council offers tours, drumming classes (US$8) and craft workshops (US$25); talks on traditional herbs and teas (US$15) can be arranged, but call ahead to give 24 hours' notice.
