Takhiin Tal Research Station

This research station has been set up to protect the reintroduced takhi (Przewalski’s horse). Most of the takhi now run free, although a few still live in enclosures near the research station, which is about 15km southwest of Bij village. Tourists are welcome. Extended volunteer stays can be arranged, as well; overnight stays cost T25,000 per person, and meals are T6000-10,000.
