American buildings re-imagined in Gothic style

Gothic architecture flourished in Europe in the Middle Ages, bringing to life masterpieces like Paris’ Notre Dame in France and Cologne’s Cathedral in Germany with their pointed arches and looming spires. This architectural style had a revival in the 20th century in the United States as well, with buildings like Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut resembling their European counterparts.

Now, a new study by US-based housing expert website Angie's List has rendered how eight iconic American buildings would look like if they too had been built following the Gothic revival wave.
