Moscow’s financial district, Moscow City, has a new market called Empire Blackyard which will be open every day until the end of August in the underground space of the Empire Tower.

This month-long event will feature more than 20 companies and offer food from Moscow’s Danilovsky market, skateboard and ping pong contests, a cinema screening popular shows such as Game of Thrones, bookshop, educational programs and more. The market is part of an attempt to enliven the financial district and there are plans to organise similar events throughout the year. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
