For two years in a row, Vienna has been named the most liveable city in the world in the annual Economist Intelligence Unit’s global livability index.

According to the report, Austria’s capital has enjoyed the title thanks to a number of different factors, including a well-planned and developed public transport network, a healthcare system that has proven to be affordable for many people and street safety. The index looked a five different categories to determine a score for each city included in the listing, with Vienna scoring a near perfect score across four of the five groups.
