These rare and intriguing rock forms in the sea on the coast east of Gyeongju are composed by an array of columnar rock joints (jusangjeolli: literally 'column form joints'), which muster in a rare geological formation resembling overturned rectangular columns or pillars. They are best viewed from the tall observation tower, which is free to enter. They can be found south of the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant.
