Torreón de Monte Igueldo

San Sebastián

The striking Torreón de Monte Igueldo (Tower of Monte Igueldo) is a fortified lighthouse, a reconstruction of a 16th-century tower. It no longer works (there's a new lighthouse nearby), but it offers a great vantage point from its perch 180m above the sea. The tower also has an exhibition on the life and customs of San Sebastián.
