Plèmont Headland

Jersey

Jutting out into the sea off the north coast of Jersey, this headland is the world's southernmost nesting place for puffins, and if you're lucky, you may see them fluttering off cliffs. From here, there are excellent coastal walks in either direction, past numerous German bunkers and shelters left over from WWII.
