Foot & Walker Pass Monument

Back in the day when the Butterfield Overland stage coach had a hard time making it across this pass, passengers had to temporarily get off and walk – hence the name. A memorial on the north side of Blair Valley marks the spot.

The turnoff is on Rte S2, about 5 miles south of the crossing with Hwy 78.
