The theater where Mia and Seb went to the movies in La La Land has been closed since 2007 (talk about movie magic!), but locals remain nostalgic for this 1925 masterpiece of Spanish Moorish design, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Although a real-estate developer purchased the building in 2015, so far nothing much has come of that.
