This public beach backed by impressive dunes and with acres of white sand is a free alternative to the pricey resort next door. It's a fine place but can often be disappointingly littered with rubbish. Vendors offer desert driving or camel riding nearby. Note that the beach gets busy on weekends, and there are no public toilets.
